Help us to Raise Funds

The cost of setting up and running a Gig Club are quite high and include buying and maintaining the boats, clubhouse running costs, transport to events, safety and clothing etc.

There are many things you could do to help:

Do you want to leave a legacy to Sidmouth, could you be a benefactor and loan or underwrite the commissioning of the gig, or perhaps make a monetary donation? With your help we could have our first boat in the water in the summer of 2010 !  If you love Sidmouth, love the sea and want to see Sidmouth take part in the fastest growing maritime sport in the UK - see Sidmouth compete at all levels, from youth teams to 'super-vets'  - please get in touch, and help us put Sidmouth on the Gig Racing map !!

Sponsorship is extremely appreciated and this can range from monetary donations to the supply of clothing such as jackets, t-shirts, vest tops for racing, etc.

We are happy to add advertising boards to the gig trailers which are towed throughout the region, and are also willing to advertise our sponsors' details on this website. Additionally, we will be able to sell advertising space on our fibreglass (GRP Hull) boat which we hope to receive this summer.

In addition, as part of our mission to build the Sidmouth Gig Club name, we are now selling Sidmouth Gig Club branded Musto jackets - on sale at Delderfields (Fore Street, Sidmouth). Available in both a mens style (as per the photo), and a waisted ladies style.
